Life used to be easy because I could get turkey burgers at Trader Joes that only had 3 grams of fat but they discontinued them!

I have had such a tough time finding ones that have a low fat content (most are 7 - 10 grams each) and a few had whey in them.

I used Shell's recipe for turkey meatloaf (I put the ingredients in the blender -except the meat and bread crumbs) and then just form the patties myself using ground turkey breast (I also omit the ketchup topping since it's not meatloaf). I put the extras (uncooked patties) in individual baggies in the freezer and this makes for some easy future meals.

Thank you Shell. Thought this might help others as well.

Leigh

Also when I sautee the onion I only use 1 teaspoon of margerine to keep the fat content lower

spread your meatloaf out (raw) on a foil covered jelly roll pan (about 1/2" thick, width of your pan to cook it in). cover with a layer of mashed potatoes, roll up and drop in pan carefully (or wrap in foil and bake on jelly roll pan) and bake the same as the meatloaf! yummy!

It works perfectly... the only thing I leave out is the ketchup. And I don't use margarine for the onion-sauteing part, I just use cooking spray. Yay for nonstick pans!
