I just started the IBS diet and do not have my condition controlled. I am moving into a new apartment for school and my family is going to go out to eat after ward. They keep asking me where I can go and still be safe! There is TGI Fridays, Applebee's, Ruby Tuesdays, Outback Steakhouse, etc....any ideas????????

Outback... the Shrimp, Salmon & Chicken Breast are all yummy... just tell them if they use any oils when grilling to please use as little as possible and no butter. Order a plain baked potato or steamed veggies... and if you want a small salad at the end or after you have eaten some of your potato... get the dressing on the side... they have a RF or Vinaigrette .... I do ok with the bread they serve, skip the butter. You can order herbal tea there also...
Here is a link that should be really helpful http://www.outbacksteakhouse.com/ourmenu/nutrition.asp#healthyweightloss
Hope that helps.....

they also have an allergy book- includes ALL items with diary and how to order dairy free.. the bread is safe and yummy as long as you avoid the butter and it doens't need it...
