I really want to try this so I was wondering how you guys changed the ingredients for the box mix - how much applesauce and oil and how many egg whites. Im going to buy the duncan hines brand but Im not sure what it calls for originally. Thanks! And then whatever the amount of eggs is, just use that amount but with only egg whites. Hope that makes sense! I believe it says for lower fat recipe reduce the water to 1 cup and add 1/3 cup of applesauce. The box aready has some fat in it so replacing all the oil with applesauce will be fine. If you follow those instructions and then use 6 egg whites for the 3 whole eggs you will be all set.
