You must try this, Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken. I changed the recipe a little to fit the ingredients that I had.

I did not have Soy Sauce, but I had Teriyake, 1T. I added 1/2 cup of brown sugar. I made a double recipe, so glad I did because now I have lunch for a few days. This goes great with rice and carrots. YUMMMMMMMMMM!! The glaze that cooks down with this is absolutely scrumptious!!! You can find the recipe in this forum!!

Sorry, I am not good at setting up a link, I tried but I am not sure if it will work, anyway, cook this, I give it 5 stars!!!!!

I cooked this in my favorite skillet with the lid on medium until the the chicken was cooked, then removed the lid and cooked on low to finish the glaze. Takes a few minutes.

I also added salt and pepper on each side as it was cooking.

How long did you cook the chicken? Did you use frozen or thawed chicken?

I had frozen chicken breasts that were thawed. I cooked this until the juices ran clear, and then on low for about 30 minutes. If I hadn't waited so late in the day to cook this, I would have started earlier and cooked it on low. During the last few minutes I took the lid off the skillet and let the sauce cook down to such a beautiful glaze. You may have to play with the taste a little, don't be thrown off by the strong taste of the sauce at the beginning, remember, I added extra brown sugar, salt and pepper to taste. I also used a little less garlic than it called for because I didn't have enough. Let me know how it turns out !!!! Definitely try it !!
