Ok, in one of my many moves, I have lost the instructions to my rice cooker. It is a small rice/veggie steamer, I should say. It has a separate bowl for cooking the rice in. Anyway, does anyone know if there is a "common" amount of rice to water when steaming? I tried once without the instructions and just had a mess. Any help? Thanks!

I usually do a 2-1 ratio, 2 cups water, 1 cup rice, for example.

Why not take the make and model number off the cooker and do a web site search? (I use www.google.com for most of my searches.) Most all of the manufactures of products now have a downloadable manual since so many are lost or not in the original carton. If they don't have one, they usually have a contact email address so you could ask specific questions relevant to your cooker. Hope this helps.....Kandee
