i'm going out for Happy Hour tonight (shocker!). i have no idea what else i'm doing, though. i have no $$$$ because of the paycheck lag between jobs. i had hoped to go see The Village, but i don't think it's a good idea to try to sell my body just for a movie ticket. maybe i'll wait 'til next weekend! 
ps: sorry i haven't been on the boards much this week. between the new job and a nasty fibro flare, i've been either at my desk or in my bed sleeping.  i'll try to be more chatty....  i miss you all!

Jen,
I have missed you too. Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. We are going to a wedding tonight, a Spanish wedding. I am excited and hope my stomach holds out. The wedding doesn't start until 9 and then the reception after that. It is going to be a late night and we will be eating very late too. I'm sure it will take me all day tomorrow to catch up on the sleep I am going to loose.

Hi Jen!
I hope you have a good time at Happy Hour. I have been avoiding the pubs and stuff lately 'cause tummy has flared up, I'll be thinking of you when you're having nice drinks and I am flattening my gingerale! 
Tonight I am watching Big Brother (UK) with a friend as it is the last week before the final, so it is very exciting (I know, I'm lame!).
Tomorrow we are going to a BBQ! I am going to bring veggie dogs, I think... or we might make chicken kebabs 'cause they are really nice on the grill. I would normally be a bit nervous about going out this weekend, especially to eat, 'cause my tummy has been bad but it's at a friend's house who is a) really close to my house, so I can easily walk home if tummy acts up and b) knows about my IBS, and I can chat to him about it 'cause he's always having problems with his stomach. He is like, the one person I don't feel uncomfortable around about it... even if he did call me fat last weekend to my boyfriend... grr... anyway, I digress..
So yeah, I think I will have a pretty chilled out weekend the rest of the time 'cause I've had the last 2 days off from really bad belly pains and want to go back to work on Monday.

Oh, Happy Hour! Lordy! I kinda miss those. A little bit anyways. But alcohol would kick the crap out of me...I can't even smell the cap for goodness sakes!!
This weekend, we don't have too much planned. We may be going to the beach Sunday if it is nice. The tough thing is it has been so freakin' hot that I don't like taking Ben out there just yet. It's supposed to be a little less hot this weekend, so hopefully we get to make a trip out there. We haven't been out there much with our new little one. I am starting to miss it!

To boot the Mass is at 10am and the reception at 1pm. I'll have to get up like its a regular workday!! But it will be fune nonetheless!

Missed you.......how's the job....do you like it? Sorry about the fibro. Darn that fibro!!!
My hubby is off today because he had some extra vacation to take....we have already been arguing over who would use the computer first. Ha Ha
He is leaving on a business trip Sunday and coming back Thursday.....I will be sooooo lonesome. I am trying to plan stuff to keep me busy.
Today we are going shopping to buy him some new slacks and then probably eat out. Of course....there will be yard work to do....that's never-ending.

I go back to work this weekend. I had 7 days off and now I'm back on for 2 weeks. Hopefully the weather will improve. It's been crap here the past few days, rainy and only about 8c ! (46F) in July! what the heck ?!?!

Sorry to hear about the fibro (that blows), am not surprised that the job is keeping you busy... disregard my "where the heck have you been" post in another thread, coz now I know.
Weekend: Today, sleeping and errand-type-things. Tomorrow, however, is wiiiiide open. I was thinking we'd hit the state fair, which opened today, but he doesn't want to deal with the crowds... I'm sure we'll think of something else to do.

Hi, Jennie my girl!! Sorry to hear about your fibro flare. I'm not feeling too good myself. Too much sun and fibro definitely don't mix!! But I got a gorgeous tan! No pain, no gain.
This weekend no specific plans. Still unpacking and putting away from the trip and doing emergency rescue on the plants that didn't survive. Oh, and I'm reading the first book of Lord of the Rings for the first time since I was in college. I'm lovin' it!

Hmmm...let me see. My house is swamped in boxes (from moving) and bags (from holiday), the garden is a jungle and the kitchen is in pieces. So I reckon I'm going to see a movie and maybe have a bbq in the back garden or go see some friends. Aaah, the art of... unneccesary actions!?! (If someone can work out which word I actually wanted to put there, please let me know: it's bugging me).

I'm going to try to see The Village tonight with my best friend and his girlfriend and some other people. Tomorrow going to try to get a little shopping done. My one current roommate moves out next Saturday, and then I move into her room, but she also owns about half the apartment, and most of the kitchen, so going out to get some things to replace what she's taking with her. Then, of course, never ending homework.

Saturday is the first "Farmer's Market" of the season, so hubby and I will take zucchini and red beets....then help his mom with a garage sale....and then Sunday I am going to help (along with my parents and brother) my grandmother move into an assisted living place.....then I'm taking Monday off to rest up in case I stay the night in the little town where grandma is moving to. I don't like to drive after dark so I may stay the night. Have a great weekend.

My baby boy is good...he keeps me good and busy! I would have never thought a baby could be so much work...I know, I must have been living with my head up my butt LOL
But he is good! He is over 14lbs now! He is adorable! Of course, I am completely bias because he is Mine LOL
He has been sleeping thru the night for about a month now which is wonderful. So I am not As tired as I was. It seems to get easier the more sleep they get (and I get LOL)

We're going to be beach bums tomorrow, so I'm really looking forward to that! Sunday I'm spending some time with one of my best friends and possibly going to see The Village (even though I haven't heard great things). We'll also be celebrating my husband's completion of his first year of grad school AND getting stuff together for our camping trip next week!
