I am glad you are okay- it sucks when stuff like that happens, right? Everyone SHOULD be able to feel safe answering their door. I had a similiar situation almost a year ago when I moved into my apartment. I was coming home from being out late on the weekend with my BF, and there was a naked guy walking around the complex! At the time I didn't realize that the police station was practically down the street, or I would have went there. And I didn't know the number, and 411 costs WAY too much on my cell phone.
I took the lazy way out, and we went out for alittle while longer and than came home. I felt safe enough cause my BF stays over on the weekends, and he can beat up any scary dudes for me  .
Looking back, it was really irresponsible of me to not notify the police. But, not everyone thinks the way they should in unusual situations, huh?
Glad again that everything is okay!

Daisy,
This is so scary. I guess you won't be opening your door early in the morning or anytime again without knowing who is on the other side. This kind of thing makes you realize that someone is looking out for you. How easily this whole situation could have gone in another direction.
