Well I've also only just got a chance to sit down and read through the secrets thread. Wow...and I thought you all couldn't impress me mroe than you already have. You are all very strong, brave and courageous individuals.
Please forgive me if I forget anyone but I wanted to try and address as many as I could individually:

First of all Bev: It's been echoed time and time again here on the board, but I have to say it again, you are a wonderful person, woman, individual, WHATEVER. To think you have come out of a personal ordeal such as this, as well as a very traumatic childhood, as such a caring, thoughtful, strong person is just incredible. What more can I say? You are a pillar of strength and I admire you more than you probably know!

LauraSue - I hope you feel relief after sharing something so personal to you. I think its great that you can be comfortable with us and know that we are totally here for you. It must be difficult dealing with your thoughts and emotions now, and having your partner not truly "understand" but know we're here for you whenever you need us. You too are an incredible woman and that would never ever change anything!!!

Steph - So cybersex, eh? What was that like?? You totally don't have to say anything, but was this with a random person or someone you were dating?

Jen - Wow, how strong you are. That must have been a rough period in your life, but what you did shows your selflessness. Again, I don't mean to be nosy but do you ever want to have contact with the child?

Sheri - You are too cool. To deal with what you've had to deal with, with depression and not having a family for support and then changing your life around so much is inspiring. It shows me that even in the darkest of times there is always hope that things will get better. I totally think a tatoo would be a very cool way of putting things behind you and having a reminder that you have started anew.

Christine - Nah, don't be ashamed...its not like you can help who you are attracted to anyway and you didn't cross any boundaries either! Quit being so hard on yourself !

Jenny - Wow, what a summer eh? Well again, its all in the past and you have moved way beyond that. Hopefully you've patched things up with your sister?

Casey - I don't think anyone can say we don't regret at least one thing we've done - whether it be big or small. But sometimes you really have to believe that it was just meant to be that way. If all of this never happened, you wouldn't be with Adam now, happy and together! Some things really do happen for a reason!

Michele - I think its so great that you decided you didn't like what you were doing anymore, and its pretty amazing too that you were able to detox all on your own - it truly shows what strength and willpower you must have. You must feel extremely proud of yourself and how you have just blossomed into such a sweet, intelligent person!

Davina/Doe - All I can say is wow...you have really been through it all, haven't you? What I truly find remarkable about you is your ability to forgive. Not everyone could do that as you have, and I think it says a lot about your character that you were able to forgive your mother and that you guys now have a close relationship.

Steph - What a difficult time you've had in a short span. I hope you know, and I'm sure you do, that you did nothing wrong and that you should feel so proud of yourself for having so much strength to deal with a difficult situation. Also, having experienced something so similar to your sister and brother in law, I think, will be of much help to them. You have first hand experience of what it is like so I am sure they will both be grateful to have someone who can honestly understand what they are both going through.

Kimm - My goodness, you really must have had to grow up fast! You are truly an inspiration and an example that one can be successful, bright, happy and live a good life regardless of the things they experienced in their adolescense. You are SUCH a sweet sister for caring about your brother like that. You can be my older sister ANYDAY, thanks!!!!!!

Lisa - tsk, tsk, *shakes head* I'm sending the grocery police after you right now. Dog food? How could you?!? LOL, IMO isn't it kinda the cashiers fault anyway for not SEEING that big darn bag of food in the first place?? hehe.

*WHEW, I hope I got everyone*

But seriously, what an AWESOME bunch of people we have here. You guys make my days much much brighter! And don't forget that even these "deepest, darkest secrets" that we may be ashamed of, or want to keep to ourselves, make us who we are and influence our character - in a positive way! Embrace who you are!!!

Sorry I can't think of anything to share. Like Jess, I feel too young to really have a deep, dark secret - nothing could compare to the touching and compelling ones you all have shared!!!

YOU GUYS ROCK! LUV YA ALL!

Caryn

Like I said before, Caryn, you are just TOO cute! Soooo caring and pays attention to everyone's words!

You don't have to be too young to have any dark secrets. Look at mine for crying out loud! The only one I could think of was dog food stealing and I'm 37! Ya know we all lead some kind of dysfuntional life as we were young but I swear now a days the dysfunctional families seem to be diminishing. I know that I strive to make our family "Non-dysfunctional". No one is completely immune to it but heck we can try our hardest!

Keep being as cute and sweet as you are!
