CountryGirl, I don't know what to say!
Yes I do.
Look here, you're only 34. I'm gonna be 60 in November! You still have some metabolism left in you. There's still hope for you.
Bad hair days? At least you have some hair -- my hair all fell out when I became menopausal. My hair is so thin and stringy, I always go out wearing a hat.
Bloat? Hell, I look like I'm about 9 months pregnant!
You ARE "that young and skinny."
Now you go get 'em, Girlfriend!

Hey, Kandee (Eyebser) does too, so maybe you could talk to her about anything dealing with that? I know nothing about it, so I just thought I'd letcha know about her!
Also, as for the acne, have you tried Proactiv? It really does work!! In about 2 weeks it's almost completely gone! I use it as well as three fo my friends, and on the commercials I know that they have 30 and 40 year olds who rave about it as well.
I hope this helps you any Cheer up!

I wish I could actually gain some weight! I was skinny before I got IBS and then I lost 20lbs.

a) i'm only 33 and i'm not old. so you're young, too. b) my hair is thinner than it used to be, too, from being sick. so i cut it off. now it's quite chic and sexy and ya wouldn't know it's not as voluminous as it used to be. (ps: short hair doesn't mean matronly or stodgy!) c) my hormones went out of whack in my late 20s and i got the acne i never had in my teens! PROACTIV, baby. i swear by it. d) i am not the skinninest i ever was (nor do i want to be, honestly) but curves are pretty, too! my hints to "work it": don't wear hipster pants (no one should, anyway) and DO show some cleavage. at least, wear an open neckline. it does wonders for the overall look, i swear to you! e) the bloaties will pass. they do make you feel rotten, tho, don't they!? grab some fennel tea, do some yoga moves, experiment with cutting out various foods that may be aggrevating it, take your soluble fiber. this too shall pass (hopefully). if not, invest in drawstring linen pants. i swear by them on my "fat days."
listen, i am the most beautiful i've ever been and it has to do mostly with knowing who i am. and i had no idea who i was before - in my 20s.
shake off your PMS, you crazy girl! look in the mirror with your well-earned 34-year old perspective and get real. you're beautiful!
(*mutter mutter* "not ancient." *mutter mutter*)

Hi,
Hey, don't be down on yourself. I will be 60 in Oct. and I would love to be 34 again. You are at the prime of your life. Enjoy it while you can because before you know it you will be 60 like me. Make some good memories so you can look back later and enjoy them.
I saw your pic and you are a great lookin gal.
About the skinny part<<<<<it's not that great>>>> I was really skinny for a while when I was scared to eat and everyone said "you are too thin". Made me feel bad so there is a down side. Also, when you get older I think women look better with a little "meat" on them. They don't look so wrinkly. My mom is 85 and a little overweight and she looks great. I still am a little too thin because my neck looks wrinkly and my face looks thin but when I do gain a little it goes right to my stomach...Darn!!!
