Crafting. Love to make things. My favorite by far is crochet, but I cross-stitch too, and I'm working on learning how to knit.

Outdoors stuff. Love the hiking and camping! One of these days I have to go rafting again, too...

Thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets. I don't know if that really counts as a hobby... I guess it does. I'm addicted to other people's junk.

My favorite hobbies nowadays are:
digital photography, baking, volunteering, being out in nature, and reading. I like to watch movies too and go grocery shopping. Hee hee those are fun to me.

Hey! We just got a knee board. I haven't tried it yet. We have a couple wake boards too. I love anything in the water! I'm jealous you're going to the beach! We go to the river, no sand...I miss the sand.

I seriously do not know what I would do if I could not go to a beach! We either go to the New Jersey beach which is 2hrs away or Maryland beach which is about 3. I feel for you!

They are OK.....Not near as clean as Ocean City Maryland or Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Jersey always tends to have some controvery with syringes and stuff floating ashore. They've gotten better but if I had to choose a better beach it would be more south beaches!

Thanks! But if I could go to a beach everyday, I wouldn't know where to vacation! I love rivers/lakes too though. The river is gorgeous here. And if I really want sand, I can go to Lake Michigan I guess! My favorite beaches are in Mexico.

Myrtle Beach, SC is insane now.. NC beaches are pretty quiet and just cool houses on the beach. Very family oriented. Mexico and the Bahamas are beautiful.

Reading, writing, doing crosswords, watching Food Network, playing with my animals, travelling, singing.

I hope you didn't really want just one.

Speaking of travelling, hello everybody. I'm back from my three week trip! So many new people around already.

Where on the NC shore do you go? We go to New Bern every summer. We're heading there in a couple of weeks and I can't wait!

Ha... Emerald Isle is the beach closest to New Bern! I guess we've vacationed in the same place. And we go with my family, who live in Kentucky. Still far, but not as far. My husband and I are flying into Raleigh-Durham and meeting them there to drive over.
