hubby and I went hiking on the property of some friends of ours who live just three miles down the highway from us. They have 150 acres. We called to see if we could come out and hunt rocks/arrowheads. We had been walking the prarie for about an hour already when I looked down and there was a perfect 2 inch long white arrowhead! I was so excited!

I'd have been excited too. I remember all kinds of arrowhead-digging expeditions as a kid, and I never once found a single one.

I love taking hikes and looking for stuff like that. I think in the fall, I'll just have to come visit you Nugget so we can go arrowhead hunting and ice fishing.

Sounds like a plan! I actually found an arrowhead once when we were ice fishing! It was on the shore when I was walking from the ice back to the truck.

is it like...a real arrowhead from a long time ago?
that is so crazy! no chance in finding that in NYC...maybe an old bullet shell
