She posted a couple hours ago, giving us the countdown. I imagine right about now they're goin' at it.
I hope so at least. She SOOOO deserves this. I'm sure we'll hear from her, probably tomorrow sometime. Lets all send positive vibes her way.....

it was really really busy in the bar. we kinda talked a bit a few times, but i just can't find it in me to be the girl who waits around 'til 2:45AM outside a bar for the bartender to come out (when he didn't ask me to wait, especially!). so, since he didn't say anything, i left before closing.
so no story at all.
sorry to disappoint!

Hey Jen,
I'm not disappointed at all. Sometimes things just happen. I have been in similar situations before (long, long, time ago in my dating days). I don't blame you... I wouldn't wait around either. We were just wanting you to have a much deserved good time. Did you have sort of a good time anyway just getting out? Hope so.

Sorry, WIW. Sounds like he really works his butt off there. He most likely was running around like crazy, not thinking at all about anything but serving drinks. Also, I'm wondering if he's basically a shy kinda guy? You think?
It's still exciting -- and you can go other nights as well, can'tcha? Does it have to be just Friday nights? Hmmmmm?
Remember: An-tici-pa-tion.....

we don't really know what other nights he works. plus, you know me- since i got sick i'm in bed REAL early. it may be worth checking out other nights, tho. we've done it before once or twice so it's not like it's unprecedented behavior!
yeah, bbB, that may be a plan...
i know he's a super-hard worker. totally. and it was really busy. the interactions we had were good- flirty and good.
we'll see. downside: this will be the last week i go for about 3 weeks (my friends are all out of town over the next few weeks!) i'm not a "go to the bar alone" kinda gal.
i may have to make a move on my own this week. you know- give him my number or something!
ps: i know you will enjoy this! he calls the dropped trou dance "The Helicopter." (is it wrong that i like him more now that i know the dance has a name!?)

i DID have a good time. that's why i "had" to leave. things were getting a little stilted while my friends and i hung around. it was time to go!
anyway, maybe "better" news next weekend!?

Could it be possible that Cute Bartender Guy might be just a little intimidated by all your friends around you? Maybe he'd feel a little more "aggressive" if he caught you alone? While I don't blame you for not wanting to go to the bar alone, what if you just went a little earlier in the evening, not quite so late?
And we need to find out what other nights he works. Friday nights sound really crazy.
"Helicopter," eh? No, you're not wrong. I would have gotten a kick out of that too. He's obviously got a good sense of humor -- a total turn-on, you bet! And I LOVE "good-flirty."
While I'm from the old school, times have changed. Back then you would NEVER give your number out to a gentleman unless he approached you for it. But it's all different now. I'm sure all the young gals would say, GOFERIT. Maybe they're right. Why does the man have to always be the aggressor? (Can you tell I never watched "Sex & The City"?!)
So, WIW: GOFERIT.
