I liked your post about what you find attractive in Men, only i think it got lost in the middle of the boobs!! LOL.For me: I like a big man, tall, big shoulders,i even think a little belly on a guy is cute(you young girls must think im nuts?!)i like dark hair on men too, with a neatly trimmed beard or goatee. The big strong teddy bear type and yes, he's gotta make me laugh too! *sigh* too bad i haven't found him yet!!!

hmmm perfect type....
um, physically - taller than me (i'm 5'7), don't mind hair colour, fit (but not obsessed with looks and being in the gym, etc) just active sometimes, and not thinner than me lol. Um, friendly personality, sense of humour but knows when to be serious, thoughtful, romantic but not completely over the top, UNDERSTANDING and genuine.
Hmmm, does this guy exist? *sigh*

first and foremost is a funny guy!
next- strong arms.
a guy who can lift a heavy box and tell a joke about it. apparently that's what i'm lookin' for!
i also like (and i've said it before, i'll say it again) those little krinkle lines around a guy's eyes (the kind that means he smiles a lot, not the kind that means he's been squinting into the sun too long! )

Good Morning Jen,
I agree, a sense of HUMOR is at the top of my list too. I also look for honesty and trust in a person. Good looks help too!! he he!
And YES, although I've been married 40 years can remember that FAR back!!! LOL!
Something tells me you have that "DREAMY LOOK" on your face this morning.
Hugs,
Pat

Just like my boyfriend, I really scored when I met him! Hazel eyes, 6' 4", thin with alittle muscle (well, okay, the muscle has been melting away since he got an office job!) Really tall guys do it in for me... Since I am so tall for a chik (5' 7 3/4"), I need a tall guy to still feel girly. I never thought I'd fall for an Italian, though... (MOm's polish, Dad's Irish)

Its interesting to see what you guys look for. I have had a real bad time with women lately. There is one gal that I am dating now that I really like. Thing is she has some issues and I am not quite sure where I stand with her. Right now, we are just going SLOW. Ugh, problem is I neve rlet myself get too attached to anyone and with her I look fwd to every time I speak with her or see her. I have a feeling I am setting myself for a big plunge where I'm gonna get hurt.
Well ladies, sorry for my rant. Its way off the topic of the perfect guy...

Tommy,
You need to take that chance if you have strong feelings for this girl- holding back will only hurt you more- you will be left not knwoing what "could have been" But taking things slow aren't always bad, my BF and I take evry relationship step slow, and I think that's part of the reson we have stayed together so long (year and seven months) I know that's not too long, but it is when you are as afraid of commitment as me! (I'm allowed though, seeing how I'm only twenty) Good luck- hope things work out for ya

TALL!! Definately. You all think you're tall at 5'7"?!?!? Are you nuts? That's perfect! I would call it short! LoL. I'm 5'11". My husband is about 6'1", which is perfect for me because I don't want to have giant daughters - LOL. Another thing that attracts me is intelligence. I hate those dopey guys that know they are hot. That over-confident stuff is a total turn-off to me. Strong arms are a HUGE plus! And a great smile. I have a thing for football players, big guys, even with a little gut My husband looks all macho all the time - he plays football still and works construction, but he's the most down-to-earth, sweetest man in the world on the inside. I love that!
So I guess that's it- tall, smart, big arms, good smile, rough on the outside-sweet on the inside.

I like tall men, dark hair, blue eyes, muscular and not too thin and is a jack of all trades.
Geez.....sounds like my husband. Unlike some of you tall girls - I'm barely 5'4" and my husband is 6'2".

What I find attractive to look at and what I find attractive to date are 2 different things entirely.
Personality first and foremost. He's gotta be funny, goofy, not take himself too seriously, because I'm a big goon and it'll never work out otherwise.
Intelligence is good. Ego and that whole macho thing are not.
The physical stuff is almost a non-consideration. I notice eyes, and smiles, and that's really just about it.
(I just described my boyfriend. He'd be pleased, lol!)
Now, strictly to look at, that's something different. I'm still all gaga for a bad boy - shaved head, tattoos, bonus points for blue eyes & a nice bike. Hah. But after a few experiences dating that type, you couldn't pay me enough to do it again.

Thanks, sweetie!! I never used to think so. But I guess that's a pretty good picture of me. Let's hear it for the miracles of modern makeup! Sometimes in the morning I scare myself.

Okay, maybe not... But for some reason that song popped into my head when I was reading all the other posts.
I have to agree with Jen, arms have been my one 'thing' about boys since I started hugging boys and realised how nice and strong some of 'em are. My boyfriend was really into martial arts until very recently, and now goes to the gym so he has good arms. I like funny. I also like someone who appreciates MY sense of humour.. there is nothing worse then being around someone who is so unlike you in the humour department that they just blank-stare you when you are trying to be all cute n' funny (my boyfriend thinks I'm funny, so he wins points).
I like dark hair.. I don't really like tall guys. I'm only 5'4, I just want someone taller than me. My boyfriend is 5'11, that seems to work out pretty well. Any taller and I'd have to reach for hugs n' stuff, and I'm much too lazy for that!
And last but not least I like thoughtful guys... Like, just when you think that they are so clueless about everything, they'll come through and so something that makes your whole body go, "awww".
Yay, boys are fun. --Steph

I laughed when you said you don't want giant daughters. You're too cute. And you guys are a good looking couple!!!
Steph I agree about the thoughtfulness that is definitely a plus.
And to whoever said that they dislike those guys who know they are good looking, you are totally right. I know a few of "those" and it is not attractive at all...
aw, man, you're right Sheri, you guys are making me envious BIG TIME!

Well I felt like a giant most of my life, and I don't want to have any girls taller than me! My husband just wants me to give birth to an entire football team. He comes from a big family of ALL boys, his poor mother.
I like seeing your pic now by the way! You're beautiful!

Wow, a family of all boys - what about you, do you have siblings? Maybe if you have a coupla sets of twins it won't take as long to make that football team, hehe

I have an older sister and a younger brother. We're all so far apart right now! I have a good chance of having twins....fraternal twins are genetic, and my mom and great-grandma are fraternal twins. Skipped a generation both times, now it's my turn! Do you have siblings?

Yeah I agree! You're adorable. And I love your name because it's my little brother's name. I am going to name a son Tommy because I love it! We call him Bolina though - Tom-bolina...I don't know...we're dumb, but it stuck.

I think they like being twins about as much as they dislike it. It definitely has its disadvantages and advantages. Funny that you would say that about looking alike. One of my sisters and I look so alike - and now that she is older and my height we get mistaken for each other all the time!
