I went into Cracker Barrel today (because I saw an ad in the paper there), I got an application, and before I even turned it in this lady came up to me and said, "Honey, are you available for an interview tomorrow at 2:30?" I jsut sat there stunned for a moment before answering, "Yes! Of course!!" and she said "Great, just bring the application with you then!" So I'm wondeirng if they're really, really desperate for a new employee or something?? Anyways, just wish me luck!
Any news on any of your interviews yet, Jen? I haven't been keeping up with the boards as much as I'd like to be!

Ok, I don't know what Cracker Barrel (I am in Canada) is but I read the posts and I assume its a restaurant? About two months ago I started waitressing too!

thanks for asking- i haven't heard anything about my interviews. i know the dude from the Friday one was holding some more interviews on Monday and then was going out of town for a few days. he said he'd contact me at the end of the week. that's the job with too low of a salary.
i don't know when i'll hear from the people at the other place (the publishing one). soon, i hope!
