i'm such a pessimist when it comes to romance, though!

i'm not used to having the boys i crush on like me back. i guess i'm just being superstitious.

i will keep ya'll posted, though. i'm on orders from my bestest bud Bevrs (bbB) to keep up the excitement so she can hear the stories!

thanks for the good perspective, though. i will keep that in mind. i guess he wouldn't kiss me once like that if he didn't intend to do it again! at least we hope not.

and i WILL enjoy the first kisses. i think they are definitely fun.

You are not the only one! I am so sorry I joined the "political" conversation! That was not an intelligent thing to do. Had I dreamed...I tried to appologize, but that went over like a lead balloon, and I truy was about to delete this board from my life - despite the help and encouragement I have received here. I guess opinions aren't too welcome in some arenas. It's just lately, I've been on the receiving end of a lot of "Mine is the only opinion that counts and I don't want to hear yours" kind of treatment, and I guess I poorly worded my own. I still regret it.

Thanks for having the courage and strength to speak your heart. I am going to follow your example. I don't ever want to offend. I just get defensive in the presence of misdirected blame-placing. I'll learn to keep my opinions to myself....especially while I'm so sick myself and waiting to find my own answers. I'm just over-responsive right now.

Courage and gratitude from here. I, too wish I'd never been drawn into the fray. Thanks for having such a good heart.

about staying out of this post but here I am. As for the posts that were deleted I am glad I missed them. As for the "political" string that I read I understand her point and everyone else's for that matter. My understanding is that she is/was VERY ANGRY about the FDA and this administration and I hear her, heck every administration has irritated me and I don't belong to either of the two major parties. Having studied politics and having a husband who has a master's in the field people have to try and understand how the government works and that is not easy. So if it means going to the library and actually reading the transcripts of what our elected leaders are saying, do so, don't just rely on what the newspaper is telling us, do your own research and always remember who your source is and by all means VOTE! As for posting on this message board I and the rest of us should keep religion and politics out of the conversation because I have a hard time reading some people's posts now knowing their perspective. Off my soap box I will go and back to the messages that have brought us all together, how to beat IBS!

And you can bet politics will be avoided like the plague from now on! I am going to learn to keep my mouth shut! At least about some things! Thanks!

I'm sticking around. I need the support as I struggle through another diagnosis of what I assumed was IBS acting up. Now that I'm back into and unknown territory, this site has been most helpful on every aspect of gastrointestinal (sp?) problems. However, I am going to be a LOT more careful about saying ANYTHING when stuff other than IBS is involved. I've been surprised how upset I've been over this, and quite frankly, I don't need it right now. I am going to be VERY quiet! Shhhhhhh!

Maybe he might have kissed you once, just to see what you'd do, just to get a reaction out of you, or just for the fun of it. BUT he most definitely wouldn't have dropped trou and done the happy dance!

Oh, you'll be kissed again, oh yeah ...... and I can't wait.

for a few days. I totally missed what happened and happy to miss it. This is suppose to be a supportive place to go and it is nice to have Heather around to delete the negative comments.
