Going out for dinner need help....

Hi, for fathers day my kids are taking us out for dinner at Red Lobster I LOVE CRAB is seafood allowed on this program...I'm just getting over the diverticulitis attack and feeling much better....what can I order that should be safe for me to eat and enjoy the night any suggestions...

We all love crab too and we eat it when we can. I suggest staying as far away from the cheddar biscuits as you can and I never eat the salad, although you could have it with a low fat or fat free non-creamy dressing after you have some soluble fiber. If you have crab don't dip it in the butter. You can also have grilled fish or even lobster without butter. I usually get a plain baked potato with my meal and just use salt and pepper. I know they have rice pilaf but I'm not sure what is in it. Just make sure they don't use butter in anything you eat and try not to eat your entire dinner.

I had a horrible attack after I had Red Lobster one time because like an idiot I ate the biscuits and the shrimp scampi. I love shrimp but every shrimp dish is either fried or swimming in butter. I didn't make it home. I had to stop at my in-laws and thankfully they weren't home and we had a key LOL. We live about 45 min. from the nearest Red Lobster.
