Pages: 1 Tips for starting Effexor       #79507 - 06/15/04 02:11 PM Edit Reply Quote Vicam Reged: 02/24/04 Posts: 1955 Loc: Ontario, Canada Hey Guys, I'm going to be starting my Effexor XR (37.5mg) soon, and I'm looking to see if anyone has any tips on how to minimize side effects during the adjustment period. For the first 10 days or so I'm also going to be taking Paxil (only 5mg) because I'm still weaning off of that and my doc thought it'd be a good idea to overlap. I know you can get side-effects no matter what, but any tips would be great. Should I take it with or without food? Mornings or evenings? Things like that. Thanks! Kelly P.S.
