Tuesday goals and fibro rating and vent

I'm a 4 on the fibro scale, pretty achy and PMS too.
Goals today are dinner out (MIL's birthday), take dress back to tailor to get alterations done RIGHT this time, work on MIL's genealogy, plus one phone call and one email (my worst procrastinating is on phone calls and email).
Hubby had a hissy fit about something this morning. You know, when it's really their fault but they can't admit it and blame it on you or someone else? And it's something totally trivial like laundry? He used to do it a lot, but he hardly ever does it these days. He's regressing. I think he'll be glad when his mom goes back home to Florida tomorrow! he he

LS, just look hubby in the eyes. Don't say anything, just look at him, maybe even with a little smile on your face, and don't take your eyes off him. He won't be able to stand it. He'll pour his guts out.
Next thing you know, you'll both be rolling around in bed together....

I still feel icky, still a 4. My hands are really shaky today, like low blood sugar shaky, but I've eaten. Must be a new PMS symptom. And my back is just really achy and won't let up. Drat.

ew... that shaky thing BITES. i know what you're talking about. well, in regards to messed-up blood sugar.
uck. i was really hoping you'd be a nice high number by this time of the afternoon!

glad to know i'm not alone with the shakes. Yeah, it would be nice to hit some high numbers, but I seem pretty much in a groove from 4 to 5 to 6, with occasional 3's and 7's during a day but not for the whole day. Given the severity of my symptoms plus my age of onset, it's not likely to change much until they come out with some BETTER DRUGS!!! Fortunately, they have several in clinical trials currently. (Actually, I've been looking for better drugs ever since college, he he!)

i hate to hear those sentences you said though. i am torn between musing whether they're pessimistic or realistic and i don't know which one i want them to be! 
i have to look at new research. i didn't realize they had new drugs being tested...

Hey LS,
Do you and MIL get along? My DIL and are are very close. She is like the daughter I never had. Whenever they come visit( they live far away) she cries when they have to leave. Even so, as much as I love them, I am still glad when I get the house back to myself. 
We all go through the "Husband Hissy Fit" thing. It will pass if you just ignore it.
Happy to say that I no longer have to worry about PMS, although, I certainly "feel you pain". It too shall pass.
The shaky hands thing is probably low blood sugar. What did you eat.....something to bring the sugar up??? I get that, too, and I hate the feeling.

Hey, sweetie, those sentences DON'T apply to you!! Your age of onset is much earlier which means you have a much greater range of probable improvement and/or remission.
For me, they are simply realistic based on everything I've read. It doesn't get me down though because my life is very manageable at a 5. I enjoy life just fine, so don't you worry, okay?!
