Hi all,
This message is especially for Bev, 'cause I think she hates my job more than I do but also for everybody else who has had to listen to me moan about my crappy bar job.
When I got home from work today from the above crappy bar, I had a voice mail from the woman at my police job saying they could finally offer me a positon, and for me to call and let her know when I can start - YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
The one downside (that I know of so far!) is that it is quite far from my house and will be a 20 minute walk, a 20 minute train ride and then another walk, or maybe a bus... I _really_ need to get stable by then or I will have anxiety attacks every day before work BUT I will work harder than ever before to feel better!
So even though it's not definite, it seems like things are finally going in the right direction so send me good luck vibes, I am going to call her tomorrow when she'll be in the office.
After I posted yesterday, and got all the replies, that's when I wrote to the woman to hassle her about the job so you all helped me push for it more so thank you. I will need oodles of your support once I start the journey every day, and start working full time.
I will post an update if I find anything out tomorrow, and then give my notice in at the pub.
Thanks for always listening to me whine, I am so happy I finally have good news to post!

Hi all,
Ha ha, if I could fix traffic violations, I would have my quota filled from my boyfriend alone! Just kidding.. though only 'cause he sold his car. Ha ha. Kidding again.
As for the travelling, it's not the exercise I am worried about, it's the train journey. I get really nervous on trains and busses and stuff. I guess I'll just have to have immodium on hand and hope I don't have to use it!
Thanks for your replies, I will be so happy if this comes through!

Congratulations!

I am so happy for you. YOU CAN DO THIS !!! Ask for God to walk with you, be on the train with you, and into your job with you. You've got your Maker on your side and he wants the very best for you.

I will pray for you that you make the right food choices to stay stable and that you won't get stressed but enjoy the new opportunities that have come your way.

Blessings,
Leigh

Oh, yay! this is wonderful to hear, Steph! No more icky bar!!! You could always think of the 20min walk as your exercise for the day, maybe that will take some of the pressure off of it. Let us know when you get more details. This is exciting!
