Sorry, but I need to vent.......

I just found out that this morning that the owner here asked this gal that I work with why she and I didn't run any projects out Monday when our "supervisor" was gone. Well, for one thing we didn't know he was planning on taking the day off because he doesn't communicate with us....and secondly he worked Saturday and got things caught up...there wasn't much to run out....and we had our own jobs to take care of. The owner said "nothing's been run out all week." Well, maybe he'd better take that up with our "supervisor" and find out why. It's not our fault!!! Arrggghhh. Plus when we go to our luncheon this afternoon this gal I work with and I are the only ones who are expected to clock out or get docked if we don't. One time we didn't clock out when we went to lunch with this customer and both got a "talking to" and got docked for the extra time we took for lunch.

Sorry to bother you with this...but needed to vent.

Oh, Nugget, that really stinks! But take a deep breath and let this roll off you like water off a duck!! You don't want to go to lunch with your tummy already in knots. A friend of mine always asks me, "Would you rather be right or would you rather be happy?" I'd take happy every time!

Sorry you're going through so much annoyance at work, Nugget! Talk about stressful. My mom was having a very tough time with her boss for a while until she decided that her new mantra would be, "It just doesn't matter." Now every time the boss makes her angry she takes a deep breath and tells herself that and she's been able to get through a lot better. I hope things improve for you too! Hang in there!

LS, you're SOOOOO good. That's what Dr. Phil always tells the people on his show: "Do you wanna be right, or do you wanna be happy?!"

Thanks for the excellent advice, Dr. Laura!

No need to apologize Nugget, vent all you please:) I'm sorry things are tough at work. Have you tried talking to yoru supervisor about your challenges? And informing the owner what is going on? I know when I have a tough day at work that being able to come home & talk about it helps me to just breathe and deal with it. I hope things are better for the rest of the week, and Hope you have a wonderful memorial day!

First of all I want to that all of you for listening and offering support and suggestions. I don't know what I would do without my friends here. {{{{hugs}}}}}

Lunch went OK.....the visit with the dear customer was the best. She is French and I love to listen to her accent and her stories.

The food, however, wasn't so great. I mean....it was OK, but I usually order the French Dip when we go where we went today to be on the "safe" side and it wasn't as good as it has been in the past. It was like they sliced the leftover end pieces of the roast beef for my sandwich...it was full of that "goosy" fat. Yuk. I about lost it once and had to calm my stomach down by putting on the "brake". And to think this is a "members only" club. Then it took a half hour or so to get our food so I was hungry from not eating "on time". I usually eat around 11:30...today I didn't eat til 1:00. I snacked on crackers and that helped. I'm still a little nervous about the afternoon....I get my haircut in 2 hours. I hope my tummy holds off getting upset til I get home. I'll just keep putting the "brake" on. Ha!
