Is Gravity Stronger Today, or Is It Just Me...?!

The birthday dinner we went to last night was very nice, and I was able to exit gracefully at 9:30 as planned, right after the main course. But I'm EXHAUSTED!! While I was fixing my breakfast, I quipped to Andy that gravity must be stronger today because I was having trouble moving my arms and legs. He played right along and said yeah it's up 50%! Which is exactly how I feel! Like it's 50% harder to move today! That's such a perfect analogy that I just had to share it with YAWL.

I'm sure I'll feel better later. This too shall pass, it always does!

'cause i think the high-gravity front was down here for the last 2 days!

please do not send it back. encourage it to go north east- out to sea.

I once saw a Star-Trek episode (yep, I'm a geek!) with a character who'd come from a low-gravity planet to Earth gravity. She has to wear braces and use crutches etc cos she was just too heavy for her own bones. Well, some days, I feel just like that. It's poohey!

Hi Pat,

How are you today? I know the feeling about gravity at our age. I was trying on shorts the other day and my varicose veins are looking "pretty sad". I don't know if gravity causes that but I will blame it anyway. Darn! Why do they have those lights so bright in the dressing rooms???

Have a great day,
Barbie

Me thinks perhaps Andy knows the right things to say at just the right times..... That guy's a keeper!

Sorry your gravity is down (up?), Luv. Hope it passes soon.

And that's a good thing, or we'd all fall off the earth.

I sure can't move worth a darn today either! I'm about a 3 on the scale...Yep it's an excessive gravity epidemic! We'd better notify the CDC

Hi Barbie,

Know that feeling also. Since I have cataracts can't see myself that well right now. I guess that's the ONLY thing good about having them as I can't see how many more wrinkles I've gotten or how much farther south everything else has traveled. lol!!

Just think of it as "I earned these varicose veins". Remember beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and I'm sure a lot of people out there including me would just think you're a beautiful person and wouldn't notice what you do about yourself. Hang in there! As we know it could be worse!!!

Have a great weekend!!

Pat
