I am fairly new here and posted awhile back about having to be out of town for job training,3 days last week and 3 days this week. I just finished all my training today!!! I was so worried and scared of having an IBS attack. It all turned out okay,i only ate energy/protein bars for lunch with bottled water while all the rest ate their fast food meals. Those were some long days 7:30 am.-4p.m. each day!! Im so happy i didnt have one episode of IBS at all, even this morning when i got my monthly friend,i got thru the day without any embarrassing bathroom trips.During a lunch break i was talking to the instructor and found out she has Ulcerative Colitis, yesterday and today it was flaring up on her because she would stop in the middle of a lesson and use the bathroom. I sure did feel for her,i know the others in the class might not of understood her sudden bathroom breaks but my heart really went out to her!! I sure am happy to be home now though!

Interesting, isn't it, what other people go through that we have no idea about? Here is an instructor with a very serious digestive problem, yet no one knew. I'm very impressed with her! And I'm impressed with you too -- how nice that you could share a little empathy with her; I'll bet she felt better just having you there to understand a little of what she was going through.
It think it helps a lot to know that there are others who go through the same stuff we do; it makes it a little easier to handle.
Thanks for sharing.
Bev

Hi fellow Wisconsinite! I also consider myself a country girl. I see in your profile you ride horses, what kind do you have? My family has Arabians and Miniatures..
