I have been on the patch for about two years, before it got really popular, it's the only thing that keeps my flow somewhat normal that I don't have a bad reaction to. Actually, my IBS symptoms first started around the time I was seventeen years old and constantly switching from different BC shots. 'cause i think if you smoke, stroke and cardiac problems are a risk for the patch, just like with the pill or depo provera. i wouldn't be surprised to hear someone died like that, but not if she wasn't a smoker... if it was some other kind of freak thing! -------------------- Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator     Re: how?       #65795 - 04/28/04 06:22 PM Edit Reply Quote AllieGator Reged: 01/24/04 Posts: 108 Loc: Rockland County, NY she died a few weeks ago and studies confirmed yesterday that it was the patch that killed her. she developed a blood clot in her leg as a direct result of the patch. i dont think she was on it for very long becuase she said everywhere she put the patch, that area would hurt. that has never happend to me and i have been on it for over a year. so im hoping if anything is gunna happen it would have already affected me. -------------------- If you can do nothing else...smile Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator     Pages: 1
