April 25 is a public holiday here to commemorate ANZAC (Austrialian, New Zealand Army Corp) Day. This is the day that our soldiers landed on Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey in 1915. A fierce battle took place and by the end of the day 2000 ANZACs had died. By the end of the first week 6500 ANZACs had died.
