Hey Pretty Lady!
Yeah, I was down at JoAnn Fabrics looking for MORE CURTAIN MATERIAL! Groan. They didn't have it -- I had to order it online -- more $$$$$ -- more sewing -- groan.
BUT -- I did have some fun this morning too! We went to Sherwin Williams and picked out the paint for the walls and got some carpeting samples to bring home and decide upon. FUN STUFF!
Of course hubby had to stop at the rifle store and get some ammunition for his antique rifles. Why do men have this spooky fascination with violent weapons?
I just came on the boards and discovered a zillion posts that weren't there last night when I was last on the boards -- how do you keep up with them all?!? Hubby thinks all I ever do is play on this computer -- yet I can't keep up with all the posts!
Okay, I gotta get back to work. Bought more pillow forms and foam for seat cushions for the dining room chairs -- oh, do I ever got sewin' to do, Girlfriend!

More curtains! Next time you get a new house you need to order fewer windows!
I keep up with the posts by playing all day at work 'cause my job is booorrrrrrring. Once I leave for all-day chocolate making, I won't be able to play as much.
Ah, the mens... They will protect house and hearth with those weapons! Which is good, 'cause all those pillows and curtains need guarding!

Ohmigod you crack me up! My HTB and all our housemates are really into airsofting (like paintball, but with plastic ammo and more serious guns!). If we lived in the States they'd get the real thing. But the looks people give us when they visit! Our financial advisor came round with some stuff for us to sign and there were 3 guns propped up in the corner! Maybe he thought we'd hold him up if we didn't get the mortgage!

Soz! I've been re-reading "Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" and that accent is infectious (yes, even in a book!). I'm hopeless - I copy the accents of people I'm around without realising it! People always think I'm taking the piss and I don't mean to!

I have no idea what "taking the piss is," but I, too, unintentionally copy accents. It's kind of funny to me, but you do get some strange looks. Ah, well. People need to lighten up!

I'm not working nights atm (yippee!), but I am again next week! I think my boss is trying to kill me  . Admittedly, I've just had 2 1/2 days off, but I've now got 3 days and then 4 nights on! Aaargh! Not sleeping great either, but otherwise I'm dandy. Except that my job is BORRRING!
