Kree,
You wanted to know how I liked the mindfulness class, and now that I am almost done I have to say I like it a lot. It is very good for stress and anxiety. Saturday we had a silent retreat which I really enjoyed. I guess I can go to as many retreats as I want once I complete the course.
I would highly recommend it. I haven't been posting much because I am trying to be faithful about doing my homework and practicing the yoga and meditation.

Jenny's right -- we really miss you around here! However, that class sounds really neat. Wish I was taking it with you!

I miss you guys too.You haven't been posting much lately either. That Fred! Last night I heard this awful scream at 3am that is unfortunately way too familiar to me. Another rabbit. I hate this! Rabbits are so fluffy and cute. Why can't dogs just leave them alone? The kids don't want him anywhere near them because they are afraid he is now diseased! No wonder he runs into GI trouble!
My in law's neighbors got a weinereimer (sp?) puppy that is so cute, but the fools let him run around the front yard unsupervised and with no collar. No doubt they will be totally surprised when something happens to him. Duh!

The instructor's name is Bev so Savannah wanted to know if it was you! She always asks if you are on when I check the boards. Obviously she has bonded with you which is quite a feat as she is pretty aloof! I'm enjoying my Baker's products, and when I have more money will place another order! Yum!

Oh I just love kids, and Savannah is so cute. Here's a joke for her -- it's an old one, I hope she hasn't heard it before:

"How can you tell if there's been an elephant in your refrigerator?" Answer: you can see his footprints in the butter.

Wow... dogs and rabbits. Luckily my dogs are pretty good about leaving things alone (except each other... and the crazy dogs next door). Yeah, once school started back up I've had to really scale back the posting... things are really crazy this semester and I always feel behind!

And I would NEVER ever let my dogs run around in the front yard, let alone without a collar. I'm a very over protective dog mom.

Joan, it's good to hear from you! Good for you for putting your effort into doing your homework. It try to do that too, but usually not with as much success, lol. Anyway, I'm so glad you're enjoying the class. Thanks so much for letting me know! It sounds fabulous. So you do yoga as part of the class? How are you liking it so far? I just started yoga this past Friday, and I think I'm really going to like it! My body is still aching from it because I'm totally out of shape, but it's a good kind of pain, and for the most part the class was more relaxing that exhausting.

Come back and see us whenever you can!! And take care.

Thanks Kree! I would recommend the class to everyone. It is good for people with anxiety, depression, and chronic illness or pain. There is a website called wildmind.com which does a nice job describing the various aspects to mindfulness. I'm really going to miss class when it ends.
