Went to see my Doctor today and scared Help!

Hi everyone, i went to see the surgeon and a specialist today, i cant figure out he says i have crohn's and UC did not think we could have both, anyway i am on steroids and pentassa, he is increasing the steroids but also adding a treatment that is for cancer, he said it has been seen to help put patients in remition i dont have the name of the med yet, should know by monday he told me he would have things ready for me to start. I use to bleed though tons, and i mean lots sometimes went to bathroom and all it was is blood...today was a bad day i went in middle of my meal, went after meal about 8 times and cramps, sick to stomach thought i would vaumit, clammy and my body became soak and wet... this is not under control at all now i am scared. can anyone help me with this....and is there in here a chat where i can talk to somone...am new and lost on this place ...thank you for anyone who can help me

So sorry all this is happening, I'm not sure I can really help but wanted to say I will send good thoughts your way! Try posting on the crohns board, they should be able to help. Hang in there. HUGS TO YOU!

I'm glad they found a diagnosis! It's not a good one, but at least there's no more anxiety over it. I'm so sorry that you haven't been feeling well! My grandpa has Crohn's and he had a special surgery done for his intestines, and now he can eat whateevr he wants as long as he takes his pills daily. He has to grind up his pills and stirs them with applesauce in the morning before breakfast and again at lunch. Maybe you should look into that? If we go out for lunch, he takes his applesauce and medicine into the bathroom and eats it. I don't know anything about the surgery as far as that (It was a few years ago-I was maybe 9 or 10?), so I agree with Michele that you should post on the Crohn's board. Hope this helps!
