It's me again. The girl from Northern Ontario Canada. It is so cold here that School buses have not ran for 3 days now!! Schools are still open for the teachers and the die hard students,(or for parents that can't get babysitters) and I still have to go and do my job as Cross Guard. The temperature this morning is - 36 C.,-31 F. With the windchill which is the main factor is - 54 C,(I believe) - 64 F. Pretty darn cold. This is the coldest that I can ever remember in a while. It is so cold that my dog won't even go out for a pee!!  Take care Sue

I truly understand your pain, it gets that cold here in Labrador as well, though right now we are having warmer, yet stormy, weather. And I would NOT want to be a Cross Guard in that weather! especially the windy weather! How do you do it?! Can you warm up anywhere? Have to give you applause for that girl!

Hi I guess in Labrador it does get this cold!! I get to warm up in the school quite often; as the highway is right in front of the school. Mind you though I don't go in to much as I get to hot then I freeze right away when I go out. Take care. Sue

Our weather man keeps talking about the "Alberta Clipper" that keeps hitting Cleveland. I guess it's all that cold Canadian air coming at us over Lake Erie and causing havoc here! It's cold and snowing but not as bad as my dog not wanting to pee outside!

The funny part about the "Alberta Clipper" is that Calgary is enjoying temperatures in the +10's!! How's that work??

Okay just gotta tease a little...I'm enjoying 75 and sunny skies all this week. This is are best season time right now and I love it. We get real hot down here around 118 in the summer and that starts in april/may. I'll be thinking of all of you this weekend at my sons soccer game, warm and toasty  I didn't always have this warmth though I'm from Northern California originally and it's get pretty darn cold at times. Take care and stay well and warm.

Yeah.. just so Sherri isn't the only murdered...
I was walking around last Saturday in jeans and t-shirt! I think it was in the 70's. Not as sunny as Southern Cali, but I guess the clouds and fog are keeping the warm air in the Bay Area.

Oh, I miss the Bay area grew up in West Sacramento California and visited quite often, still have all my husbands family up there. Going to visit n Feb sometime work permitted.
