No correlation has been found between yeast in food and IBS symptoms.

Just sayin'...anytime I eat foods with yeast (like bread), or a hidden form of yeast (in soups and packaged foods), my stomach becomes bloated and gassy. Usually looser stools follow. I have never been identified as being intolerant/allergic to yeast through tests, but I have learned to listen to my body and how it reacts to certain foods/food additives. Yeast is a big no-no for me.
