Thank you. Thankfully, my IBS has been doing pretty good since mom's passing. I guess the stress of her being so sick had more of an effect on my gut than I thought.

Nugget,

It will get easier to let those last images go and they will be replaced by all the other wonderful memories you have of your mother.

In 1999 my father in law died of colon cancer. We were with him the last 3 weeks and took care of him. I understand exactly what you are saying about getting the images out of your head. They did pass for me after a time. I am glad that you and your Dad were able to be with your Mother and I am sure they having you there was a comfort for her.

thanks for the kind support, Janey. My dad is having the same trouble I am...we were talking about it the other night on the phone. We are fine as long as our minds are occupied...but when we are trying to fall asleep or wake up at night, those images come back. It will get easier...

I am very sorry to here about your mom. I to have been thinking about you and wondering how you been. I hope your doing ok. Take care and know your mom is always with you! Look for the little things in the day that may tell you that. hth
