When I started taking Acacia I started having bms almost immediately on my own. When I got up to 2 1/2 tsp. I stopped being able to go on my own. I have had to do enemas again and it is extremely painful before and after. I am also taking nortryptoline, xanax, and valium for pain. I am doing physical therapy at the mayo. I also just started the Feldenkrais cds that Hawkeye suggested. Thanks the 1st lesson helped and made me relax. The physical therapist at mayo also agreed with Hawkeye and said Feldenkrais was great for pelvic floor dysfunction.
Any suggestions about how much Acacia I should be taking.
According to Mayo Drs. it is not constipation I have. I have a problem pushing out because pelvic muscles tighten as I push to eliminate. I am thinking of going back down to 2 tsp. because that is when I was able to have bms on my own for about 3 weeks. I had been having to do enemas since 12/09 after my 12 hr. surgery for numerous prolapses.
Any help or suggestions on Acacia would be appreciated.
