Hi,
I started on the acacia at 1/2 tsp. and I immediately started having bowel movements on my own, but at day 2 bms would start getting sluggish. As I increased I kept having bms on my own. Last week however as I increased to 1tbsp. and 1/2, I stopped having bms on my own and had to start water enemas again. This is very painful afterwards, because of the rectocele surgery I had in 12/08. Drs. used mesh and according to mayo they should not have; I really didn't the surgery. All it did was make pelvic floor dysfunction worse. I don't know what happened. I don't know if it was because of the accupunture, physical therapy, or too much acacia. Stool just sits at rectum and pelvic floor muscle just tightens the more I try to push. Any suggestions on Acacia would be helpful. Should I continue increasing or do I decrease. I am so confused, frustrated, and down. I was doing so well  :(
