Anyone else using Weight Watchers, and losing weight?

I've been going to WW now for about 8 weeks and can not seem to lose any weight! Is there a weight loss plan out there that does work for someone with IBS?

Hello!
I tried to do WW without any luck. Here's what I think is the problem. When I counted my points, I would be eating the same amount as I normally do. I was eating 18 points a day and I didn't lose a thing b/c that's what I ate normally. What's worked for me is exercise. I really got in shape before my wedding by doing both kickboxing DVDs and pilates. I have gained about 5 pounds back but started pilates again this summer. I really recommend kicking up the exercise--that certainly helped me!
Good luck!:)

Thank You! That is the one area that I can't seem to stay motivated or consistant with. Do you still go to WW? I'm paying 45.00 a month and really hate to think I'm wasting money!

No, I don't go anymore. I got frustrated spending the money as well. I do it on my own--and when I'm really actively trying to lose weight, I use sparkpeople.com for free to keep track of my calories and such.
Exercising certainly isn't high on my motivation list either, but when I do it and see the difference, I feel fantastic!
Good luck!

It was before IBS, but I lost 30 lbs. on Weight Watchers. I have kept it off for nearly 7 years (and that includes the worst of my IBS several years ago).

Everyone is different, but I lost the weight before I started exercising. However, exercise, I believe, has been key to keeping it off.
