I am new to this board, and I have tried "baby portions" of chicken for my protein, but I can't do it and I get called down for it saying that I'm being difficult, picky and hard to get along with.Oh really-you should try living with my GUT-allergy to soy,eggs,....!!!!! IBS-D blinding pain that actually has knocked me out.I don't even want to get started, when they want to barbecue! OW!OW!

Welcome to the boards! Usually chicken is safe for IBS. Unless of course it's prepared with adequate amounts of fat (oil, butter, etc). If you are still having problems with baked chicken, I would try fish. It's extremely important to eat enough protein so be sure you don't just skip the meat (or tofu)! Here's a link to the diet cheat sheet: http://www.helpforibs.com/diet/cheatsheet.asp.
Best of Luck! Erin
