We got about 7 inches yesterday and we are expecting more tomorrow. I heard 8 to 12 inches. I hope this isn't the case. Then another snow storm on Wed. It will definitely be a white Christmas here.

yep - there's more coming in tomorrow.
It was -15 in Vancouver today which is just nuts as it's never been this cold before.

supposed to turn into a slushy mess tomorrow and then freeze over night! Going to be a gray chanuka tomorrow night!

Maine, Christmastime, snow.... somehow they all fit together.
Here on Long Island (just east of New York City) we had about 4" of snow yesterday. To add insult to that (minor) injury, we had some freezing rain on top of that and are supposed to get more tomorrow. It's a slippery mess outside now.
I used to fantasize about having a log cabin near Moosehead Lake (Maine) and getting snowbound in it. The little kid in me still looks forward to a big snowstorm, but I HATE these nuisance snows (in which you still have to go to work) and driving in them.

Oh yes, we got 10 inches on Friday and are due for about that much today but the worst is the cold and the wind. It's about 16 degrees now and the blowing snow is killer! We're supposed to get more snow everyday through Tues!

Oh, I wish, It's Xmas and I would like to see a white one. Unfortuantely, in MD we are always on that rain/sleet/snow borderline and it's been all rain and sleet. Very, very dreary UGH!

No snow here! It was almost 80 yesterday. I always wish for at least a light dusting (the most we ever get) of snow. Hope you all stay warm & safe in the snow.

Same here today, Lynn. I just got back from the supermarket and I was drenched.... all standing water (and there's a lot of it) is supposed to freeze over tonight and it won't thaw out tomorrow. I have to park my car in the street and it's in a BIG pool of water. Dunno if I'll be able to free it tomorrow.
Still, we'll be better off than Janey... parts of Maine are supposed to get two FEET of snow!
A good day today to curl up with a book or movie.

It is 9 degrees here right now. We are now in a blizzard warning and the whole state is going to get hit with this storm. We are supposed to get at least 12 inches. The only good thing is that we will not be getting any freezing rain or sleet.
Last week we had that ice storm and we were without power for 40 hours. It was cold and miserable.
