To all of you who are United States citizens please exercise your freedom that men and woman have fought to protect for hundreds of years! Even if you don't like the two main candidtaes there are others on the ballot. I'll never forget a picture on Time magazine that showed a country in Africa that became democratic. The front cover showed people that stood in line for days just to cast the first vote!! And yet only 40 percent of Americans vote in our elections. Every vote counts and you have a voice! Use it!!! (ok I am off my soap box now!) LOL!

I made it to the polls at 6:30 and waited about 1 hr 15 min in the first line to sign in... the line for the machines was another hour, so we decided to do a paper ballot. (I'm told they are exactly the same, but the paper requires more work for the workers at the end of the day, so they prefer the machines) Anyway, I'm in Ohio...so it's always crazy. All together, it was about 1 hr 40 min.
How about you all? I'm curious about wait times!

I haven't voted yet due to work. SO I am going afterwards. It will be 4:30 before i get there and i have a feeling it will be awhile. Thank goodness my mom said I can drop my kids off there. Although maybe i could move up in the line if I had my 2 and 4 year old running around like crazy kids!!! LOL!

45 minutes not bad compared to a lot of places - they were totally disorganized. they even had a table blocking half of the doorway, everyone had to push past each other to get in and out of the front door. I asked them to move the table and they said they had no choice, there are strict instructions on where to set things up. Ridiculous!

Well I got there at 4:40pm and was out by 5pm. It wasn't too bad. Now the wait begins. Our school held a mock election and they voted for presidental and chartoon character. There were three choices and the kids got a synopsis of their good character traits and voted for that. It was a lot of fun and the winners were Nemo and John McCain. It was a fun and educational day!!
