Hi everyone-hope you're well. I've got chili simmering in the crock-pot & having it for dinner tonight, but am already feeling a little (ug this is so unlady like...)gassy . I added 1 tblsp of Heathers Tummy Fiber to it-and am now thinking I didn't need to do that with beans having SO MUCH fiber. I'm having a small bowl with corn-bread, so it shouldn't be much of a concern? If there's anything I hate more, it's when you've got gas-bubbles & they don't move through ! They just sit there inside you. Thank goodness for the fennel tea though.
Should I have a cup of fennel tea before heading home from work? I wonder if that would help. Thanks for just reading this one everyone, and have a great week.

Drink the fennel tea it will help drink 2 cups if needed trust me this has got me through some rough days. I would eat more cornbread than chill and if you have any take some bean-o this helps to (before you eat). If your still gassie a heat pad on the stomach does wonders hth. Ps I wish I could do chili I miss it so much. emmasmom ibs-c gas

The tummy fiber (acacia) is just a soluble fiber, so it's different from the fiber that's in beans (chili). No matter how much soluble fiber I have before a gas-inducing meal, I still end up with a bloated belly. Gas-X does NOTHING for me... But yeah, up the soluble if you're upping the insoluble. I hope you enjoyed your chili!
