Sorry I have not been arond much this week.
I have been babysitting three kids, all week, and part of next week. My grandson Seth is 9, Logan 6 and Makenna 3. I have my hands full. they are good kids, but it is ust getting in the swing of things again
today is my husband's birthday, and we are going for dinner tonight. Our son and daughter in law and grandson Seth are joining us. Of course I am alredy freaking out about what to eat. YOu know me and my stomach. hate this
also today would be my mother
s birthday. We lost her four years ago, and I can not get through the day without thinking of her. My husband had a spcial bond with her as they alays celebrated their birthdays together. We would always go to my mom and dad's as he alays said he could celebrate his birthday alone when she is gone
Thrusday is a yar since we lost my brother in law, so this is a diffcult week for me
I catch myself crying a lot, and I know that does not help my IBS any
anyway, will be back when I can. After this week things will be better I hope
Hugs, DeeDee

DeeDee-
I know how much you love your grandchildren, but if you are like me (I adore mine!), it's still stressful and even good stress causes my system to go haywire for a while. I know what you mean about your mom - it's been 15 years for me, but even though we weren't close, the older I get, the more I wish I could see her b/c I understand things better that she was going through.
As for crying, it's a wonderful stress reliever. There are times when I can't cry and it actually hurts physically.
So, just cry and get it out - release those feelings.
This week will be over before you know it and maybe your routine will get back to normal. It think some of us thrive on consistency and a pattern of normalcy.
{{Hugs}} - Dorothy
