Doctor wants me to try Lexapro

My doctor tried me on Buspar for a couple weeks and it just wasn't helping with my anxiety or IBS-D....so today they decided to try me on Lexapro...anyone ever had success with this drug?

I've been taking Lexapro for about 6 years or so. I take it for anxiety and have been very happy with it. I take 10mg daily.

I have taken it for a year since last May and it has been great. My IBS is triggered by anxiety and stress. Since taking Lexapro my stomach has been so much better. I can eat more things that I couldn't before. Of course now I have to deal with the weight gain but oh well!  I take 10mg a day.
