This Thursday I'm having my gallbladder removed and hoping it will definately relieve the pain. One of things I've been experiences is extreme exhaustion and short-term memory loss. Those of you who have had your gallbladder removed, did you experience this as well? Did it go away?

Sorry. Can't say I've had either of those symptoms. The only time I felt sheer exhaustion was after an attack. My attacks would last maybe 5 minutes but would take nearly 5 hours to recover from. All I can say is that it was a huge relief getting it out.
Good luck to you!

Pain and nausea were my symptoms. No exhaustion... and as far as I can remember, I didn't suffer any memory loss

LOL Our school nurse made the point that I've been suffering so long from this all my resources have gone to dealing with the pain. So here's hoping to some re-gained memory in a few weeks. I think my kindergarteners are starting to think I'm a bit nuts.
