A miracle just happened

OMG. I am freaked out.
I was walking the dog home just now, and I grabbed the stair railing-- there was a big, black wasp under the railing.
My middle fingers directly touched her body and wings, which jerked and fluttered, but I DID NOT GET STUNG. I am allergic and DEATHLY AFRAID of wasp stings.
(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I ran all the way to my door, shaking and gasping OH MY F***ING GOD. My dog thinks I'm some kind of nutjob for sure.

As someone who got stung TWICE last summer by bees and wasps she didn't even see, I'm in awe of your miracle (and of your 36D boobs, but that's another topic )!

I am so afraid of wasps! I've only been stung twice, but I'm still traumatized by those experiences!! I freak out when I hear a fly buzzing around too (I always think buzzy flappy things are going to get stuck in my hair or something!).

I was only stung "once" but it was traumatic. I was 4 and a hornet got stuck in my dress and stung my legs over and over and over again. I made it into the house, mom tried to lift my dress and it stung her through the dress and then flew off. I freak out big time when I get near a flying, stinging thing. Everyone always thinks I'm a big baby.
