I have another job interview tomorrow - at a law firm where my SIL works. She got my name into the batch, the rest is up to me. I don't have any litigation experience, but I have lots of experience relating to commercial / corporate stuff - financing, ownership agreements, etc.
I hope, I hope, I hope....

I'm really not sure how to take this one!! No real interview. The lawyer said he had all me credentials from my SIL. He asked why I considered changing fields and what I had to offer. While I answered my SIL came into the room to sit in on the "interview". I did my best to tell him why he should consider someone without any litigation experience.
My biggest worry was a comment he made to the effect that if I wasn't the right fit for the job I could be unemployed rather quickly. And that although he didn't know what I make now, but without any formal education in law I am looking to face a severe wage cut. Kinda scared me.
I have to wait for next week to see if I even get onto the next stage. They apparently have several positions opening up shortly. I emailed my thank-you last night.
Thanks for the support!
