Hey, Mags, check out my pix here! Heather just got it in for me; I'm too computer illiterate to do it myself. And check out "The Verdict Is In," which I posted under the "IBS Diet" board. You're TOOOO right! No "EW" here. Yum. And thanks! Bev

GASTROINTESTINAL PROPERTIES

Perhaps the main area to benefit from Mate is the gastrointestinal tract. Reported effects range from immediate improvement in digestion to the ability to repair damaged and diseased gastrointestinal tissues. Constipation, acute or chronic, can easily be overcome through the use of Mate. Mate appears to work mainly by softening the fecal mass, but it also appears to stimulate normal movement of the intestines to some degree.

This sounds PHENOMENAL! I've never seen it in the store...but I've got my eye out! I've never had red tea before...is it spicy or just warm....it sounds like it just warms you right up inside!

Thanks Mags!

*hugs*

Rooibos...that just means red tea, right? If I could only try one new tea...would you recommend the Emperor's Choice or the new tea with the lion on the cover (can't remember the name now)? Mucho gracias!

New Tea to Try...Cast Your Vote new

I'm trying to pick one new tea to try as a treat...so I'm re-reading everything trying to make my decision! I may just totaly spoil myself rotten and try two or three (if I can find it in our budget)...that would be fabulous! But, for now, I'm trying to narrow it down

So...please, everyone, cast your vote for the one tea I MUST try! I like tea with a little kick...but not too spicy...and something that doesn't require added sugar or honey. So far the only teas that fit this requirement for me are Honey Peach Ginger, Bengal Spice, and Peppermint. Everything else needs sugar or honey to be yummy!

Thanks for all your replies...

Love,
Ruchie

Constant Comment. There just ain't no other like it. Constant Comment. I don't know if it's easily available in the supermarket, but I used to have to get it for the office, and just opening the bag would smell up the whole kitchen for the entire day. It would make an incredible potpourri. HOWEVER, it's tea, containing caffeine, with no digestive aid properties whatsoever. Goferit! Bev.
