EW! If fennel tastes like licorice, I'll pass, thank you very much! Isn't there some kind of pill I can just swallow to get it over with? The only tea I've ever enjoyed was "Constant Comment" and that was 100 years ago -- now I think they use the stuff for potpourri! I gotta check with Heather for some fennel pills. Thanks guys. Bev

Hi Ruchie - AllGoode's DigestAbiliTea is good - its a combo of peppermint, fennel, and ginger with cinnamon bark, orange peel, alfalfa leaf, and coriander seed. Its good and nice for the IBS tummy. I can find it in one of the general supermarkets I go to as well as at the nearby health food store.
I hope you are feeling better, Ruchie. I don't post often but I read this board every few days and have been sorry to read about your health problems and job situation. Have you ever tried Zicam nasal spray? I use it whenever I feel a cold coming on and it always stops it in its track. Zinc is the predominant ingredient. Its a gel spray so not as irritating as some nasal sprays.
Hope you are feeling better - happy holidays!
Andie

Hi Andie, this tea of yours -- the DigestAbiliTea -- I've never heard of it or seen it anywhere. How does it taste? Does it taste like licorice (from the fennel)? Hopefully the peppermint overwhelms the fennel? Does it take care of your bloating and gas? Maybe this is the answer for me? Bev.

Bev - try Tummy Mint. It has fennel, and you can't taste it at all. This is where I got my idea for mixing the peppermint & fennel (the ones from Heather). You can't taste the fennel when I mix it either. Trust me - I HATE black licorice! I agree - EWWWW!!!!

AHA! "Tummy Mint," eh? Okay, who makes it and where can I find it? Sounds like MY kind of stuff! No worms there. Bev

Thanks Andie! Great to see you!

It's on and off. Yesterday I had a fever (again) and I'm taking it easy today. It seems like I take one step forward (do one activity) and I get set back a few days! I guess it just means my body still needed rest and I pushed it too far too fast. But I'll get there soon...

How are things with you these days? I hope great! Let me know...good to see you on board!

*hugs*

Tummy Mint is by Celestial Seasonings. Check here on their website, and you can choose Tummy Mint in the drop down tea menu, then put in your zip, and it should tell you where you can buy it. You can always buy it online too. I've done that before when my store had stopped selling it. I think I got it from www.vitacost.com.
