We finally have snow and I realize it sounds wierd to be excited, but we all love snow (except hubby). We will get anywhere between 4 - 8 inches of snow today. Yeah!!! Yes we will be outside building snowmen today and by the time we are done rolling snow into balls there isn't much snow left on the ground.

You have snow!? Okay, so it may not be the East Coast.. but for a plane ticket, I'll come clean your house and play in the snow. LOL

Can you believe we didn't get any snow when the East Coast got all that snow? Who says Buffalo always gets a lot of snow? Not true. I love snow and we are still waiting for it. I guess we might get a little on Sunday. Just doesn't feel like Christmas without the snow. Trying to wait patiently.

I know, Torbetta, isn't that crazy?? Buffalo and Rochester are usually the 2 cities in NY state with the highest amounts of snowfall, and so far we're the 2 lowest this year! Don't worry, I'm sure soon we'll be getting all that lake effect snow to make up for it. Unlike you, I'm glad there's no snow. I just hate driving in it, it stresses me out! But I must admit I like a little snow on Christmas, too. This morning the weatherman said it's a distinct possibility!

Sure Linz you all can come to my house for Christmas. Jennifer is only allowed to come if she agrees to clean before and after the party. LOL

Most of my housemates are going home for Christmas early (damn students !) so we had Christmas dinner last Saturday! We somehow fitted 13 people in our living room. The turkey took up the whole freezer, so you can imagine the amount of washing up there was!

We get hit all at once with the highest amount. That is why we seem to always have snow. It seems like the last few years it has either been at Thanksgiving or the first week of Jan.
We are so close to the lake, however, that we usually don't get a lot of snow. We can see grass when Buffalo has 6 to 8 inches. We are north of 104 and it seems to build up and then dump it just south of 104, the ridge. I grew up in Lockport. They get more snow than us on average.
The weather channel has it forcasted for around 3 p.m. We are hoping. My husband doesn't want the snow either because he has to drive in it.

Yeah, really! You guys should come here! Indiana gets waaaaay too much snow! I used to live in Georgia, which is pretty darn hot and wwe used to bet about a half inch of snow a year. I miss that!! Yes, Linz I've heard that the UK is very wet! lol But I'll probably be going to England and Wales in two summers if I keep my grades up So I hope your summers aren't as raniy as your winters have been!
