Well, Cassandra was right! Full moon took hold last night. Baby Serena Wynne (pronounced Win) was born at 6:55 a.m. She was 9 lbs. 12 oz. and 21 1/2 in. Big baby girl with lots of black hair. Big cute cheeks. Looks like a little sumo wrestler right now.
I know...crazy, I brought my laptop to the hospital but that's where most of my music is. And then I found out there's free wireless connection. Just my luck.
Still running on adrenaline but I need to try to sleep. Wanted to let you all know though. MUCH easier this time around. Less than 12 hrs of labor. For me, that's awesome.
Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts! Hugs all around. Oh happy day! Lauren

WOW! She was huge! My newphew was that big and it was so nice holding a newborn that wasn't fragile!
Can't wait to see pics of her! Get some sleep!
P.S. Isn't it funny how you brought your laptop and are telling us that you had the baby not even 24hrs ago. Think back to your first one, you probably would have never thought to be on a laptop typing after that first labor. It's kinda nice not being a first time mom again. You worry a lot less and do more things that you wouldn't have done before!

Congratulations!! That's wonderful!! Can't wait to see pics of your little girl.
One nice thing about living in Colorado "at altitude": smaller babies!! Babies born out here are typically in the 7 pound range. WHEW!!!
All this baby talk is getting me excited: DH and I decided we're going to start trying for our first later this fall. I'll be hounding all you mamas out there for advice before too long!! And I agree; watching some of you women go through pregnancy without letting your IBS take over - VERY encouraging for those of us who haven't been there yet!
