Hi! When my husband and I visited the Cherokee reservation in Cherokee, NC, I discovered a great tea through a company called Nuwati Herbals. It's called, "Calming the Storm Tea: Soothes the Tummy and Intestines." The ingredients are ginger, alfalfa, chamomile, fennel, licorice root, peppermint, red clover and yarrow. You can visit their site at www.NuwatiHerbals.com The tea has greatly helped me with gas and bloating, my two worst enemies. Also, as someone who has struggled with constipation, my use of psyllium fiber and Raison Bran has allowed me to become quite regular. Ciao!

Do you eat Raising Bran first thing in the morning? Without a soluble fiber food to buffer the tummy? I didn't think this type of cereal was recommended. Maybe I should go ahead and trade my low fiber SF cereals for more IF ones??? It doesn't give you cramps or bloat?
What else do you eat with it? And thanks for letting us know about the tea!

Hi, Jordy.
As a matter of fact, I do eat Raisin Bran first thing in the morning and I take psyllium later in the day. Morning is when I feel the most plugged up, so to speak, and I usually have up to two very healthy bowel movements a day. Also, I have been eating Dannon's Activia which has also helped me out a lot. The Raisin Bran doesn't give me bloating...I get a little gassy but it's nothing terrible. I've had constipation problems since I was sixteen and now, at twenty six, I am starting to get regular! Yay!

You eat yogurt too. Do you think maybe you constipation without the other IBS symptoms? Like pain, cramps, spasms, gas, bloat?
Sorry for all the questions.....but I need to make some changes...but I have more than constipation. I have the whole shabang of symptoms.
