I know I haven't posted much on the Living Room boards lately, but I do read them weekly. I thought I'd let you know that I had my baby girl, Reese Thomas, on Friday, Feb. 23. She was 7 lb, 14 oz and was 20.5 inches long.
I had just under a four-hour labor. The epidural didn't work, so I essentially went "natural". Holy hell. But, all worth it of course! She's a great baby, sleeps a lot and doesn't fuss too much. Her big brother Bodin is a little excited and jealous at the same time.
As with the birth of my son, my IBS symptoms (bloating, pain and constipation) have all but disappeared. I have a huge appetite (partly from breastfeeding, I'm sure) and I feel great. My IBS disappeared for about eight months after the birth of my son in July 05. I'm hoping for a nice long stretch again, and maybe complete remission. I couldn't imagine dealing with IBS and a toddler and a newborn.
I don't know how to put pics directly into these posts, but here's a link to a couple.

Congrats Jules!! She is gorgeous and you look great!! I loved being pregnant because my IBS went away as well and while I nursed it was in remission. But now it's back! Enjoy your babies. Two is a lot of work!!! But totally worth it!
