My hubby has cilitis and ibs He has been having spells of bloody stools and vomitting.I feel totally helpless what can i do to help?

blood and vomiting is not something to mess around with (the blood in particular is NOT a typical symptom of IBS). Go to the doctor.

man when isnt he at the doctos he was in the hospital 3 weeks ago... GI every 3 months they keep telling him he has active colitus and ibs....the vomitting is usually trapped gas..after vomitting he will burp or fart and feel somewhat better.

Hospitals aren't the same as doctors... sounds ridiculous, but true.

If he hasn't been to a gastroenterologist recently - like, within the past month - he needs to go to one. Like, NOW. Internal bleeding and vomiting aren't normal symptoms of IBS, and as far as I know, they're not something to take for granted with colitis, either.
