Okay - i've had the little bump before and it just caused some pain and went away. this morning i went after having a few days of "d" and there was a lot of blood. I could tell it was not in my bowels so assumed it came from the little bump. Can hemorrhoids bleed? it scared the daylight out of me for a second. Thanks

Hi, Yes hemmoroid can bleed. Best to have it checked by Doctor, I alway say that. I had an anal fissure recently - like a paper cut and the best thing to heal it was having sitz baths. Dry completely , gently, after doing so. Also used baby wiped, totally frgrance free kind- to wipe after BM. Let us know how you are doing. Debbie IBS-C

P.S. I also applied a tiny bit of emu oil after each BM and sitz bath - sitz bath after each BM. Doctor never suggested it but I find pure EMU oil to be very healing - cannot say if it helped or not but it alleviated some itching.
